It is important to mention that in the 2023-2024 school calendar, May 10 is marked as a normal school day. In that month, class suspension is only considered on May 15 for Teacher’s Day and on the 31st for a session of the School Technical Council (CTE).

In the case of the neighboring state of Durango, the State Secretary of Education (SEED) made adjustments to its school calendar in such a way that on May 10, Mother’s Day, there is suspension of classes.

There will also be no academic activities on May 15 for Teacher’s Day or on the 31st for the CTE meeting. In this entity, classes are also considered suspended on Monday, June 17, the day after Father’s Day, which is celebrated every third Sunday.
