Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç called on presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım to join forces in the last part of his speech at the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting.

Ali Koç’s statements are as follows;

“THERE IS NOTHING THAT CANNOT BE FORGIVEN”

Something unpleasant happened this morning. I wish it hadn’t happened. Is this a victimization or a strategy? There are people who are looking for friends and say there is no need to come tomorrow, they are going to Bodrum etc. Don’t wait, don’t. Don’t make this mistake. 25-30 thousand people are coming here tomorrow. Don’t let it sound like this is over, it’s a fait accompli. We will win. We will embark on a brand new journey together on Monday morning. I would like to make this call to Aziz Yıldırım as well. My father told me, ‘There is nothing in life that cannot be forgiven.’ My late grandfather’s body was stolen, those who remember it, we couldn’t find it for 8 months. Then he was found in the same grave 8 months later, God forbid he should show it to anyone. A family member was asked ‘Excuse me’ and he reacted a lot. I was walking behind. They also asked my father, and he said, ‘There is nothing in life that cannot be forgiven.’ This seemed strange to me, it happened like 27 years ago. You just love being the president of Fenerbahçe or you love Fenerbahçe of which you are the president. You hate me, you can’t get over this feeling. I don’t hate you. Your hatred for Ali Koç has surpassed your love for Fenerbahçe. It’s so painful. I love Fenerbahçe very much, I do my best, I work hard. You cannot question my intentions. One of the most important decisions you will make is, will you be a profile that fights with Fenerbahçe with all its ambition, or will you side with a candidate fighting for Fenerbahçe?
