Will grant 200 international scholarships to students from Cesar

To continue educational strengthening in Valledupar, the City Hall signed with the Summa Group, an International Cooperation Agreement, which will deliver scholarships with international scope.

The project called ‘Valledupar is internationalized’, will grant 200 scholarships to Citizens in the capital of Cesar. The call for interested parties will be open from August 5 to September 5, 2025.

Within the framework of this agreement, Grupo Summa, together with allied institutions such as the Cesuma University, the American University of Europe – UNADE, the Ibero -American University Corporation (Ibero) and the London School of Design and Marketing (LSDM) of the United Kingdom, will provide students, teachers, businessmen and professionals with Valledupar and Cesar, the possibility of accessing undergraduate programs, master’s degrees and doctorates with international support.

‘Valledupar is internationalized’ will be delivered directly to the citizens of the department, with the aim of facilitating academic continuity, promoting professional projection and eliminating economic barriers, thus approaching high quality training opportunities and global scope.

Through this agreement, the Valledupar Ministry of Education reaffirms its commitment to social development, promoting access to higher education, relevant and updated. Applicants must comply with these requirements only: to be born or resident in the department of Cesar. For undergraduates: Have a bachelor’s degree. For masters: Have a university degree (undergraduate or bachelor’s degree). For doctorates: It is required to have completed a master’s degree (master’s degree).

It should be noted that, in 2024, about 200 people agreed to international educational training thanks to the Valledupar Mayor’s agreement with Educa Edtech Group, providing access to quality higher education, forming leaders capable of positively transforming their region and connecting with the world.
