Who is Tyson Fury’s favorite, Anthony Joshua or Daniel Dubois?

Tyson Fury will likely provide full support to Daniel Dubois when the British boxer dueled against Anthony Joshua in a fight for the IBF heavyweight championship belt against Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on September 21, 2024. This possibility arose because the Gypsy King has long been involved in a feud with AJ.

Fury and Joshua have long been known to be at odds with each other, although the two fighters have never clashed in the ring. The Gypsy King is expected to be present at Wembley Stadium in the English Derby.

So it is not surprising if Fury later speaks out more to give support to Dubois than Joshua. This is further strengthened by the statement of Spencer Brown as Dubois’ manager.

Brown said Fury has a close relationship with Dubois. Even the boxer who was defeated by Usyk will give his support for Dobois to win.

“I think he’s a good friend of Daniel Dubois and obviously he’s in the same promotional company. But I think Tyson just wants to see a good fight. Who would he support? Probably Daniel Dubois,” Brown was quoted as saying by Sky Sports, Thursday (25/7/2024).

Regardless of the outcome of the AJ vs Dubois fight, Fury is currently concentrating on preparing for a rematch with Usyk.

Brown said Fury must win the rematch. There is no dead end to negotiate the fight, everything is still open and Saudi Arabia could be the ideal place to hold the second Fury vs Usyk fight.

“I think we have to get this over with. There’s no way he (Fury) doesn’t win the next fight. So it’s very important that Fury beats Usyk. There will be changes. Not in his management or his team, there will be some other things he’ll look at in terms of training. With the closeness of the last fight, it could have gone either way. Some people would say Usyk went three rounds,” Brown said.

“Some people won’t say that, that’s what you think of boxing, that’s why we love it. But Tyson Fury will be back. He’ll be impressive and we’ll see a new, improved, better Tyson Fury. At his age, I don’t know how much you can improve. But there’s very little that goes into a fight between them, so let’s get our British fighter on and I’m sure he’ll win and then we’ll talk about the next round,” Brown added.
