The Forbes Billionaires List reveals who the richest people in the world are. For the second year in a row, French businessman and leader of a conglomerate of exclusive luxury brands, Bernard Arnault, is ranked as the richest person in the world with a fortune of $233 billion.

They are followed by entrepreneurs who remain in the top 10 year after year, such as Americans Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, with net worths of around $195 billion each.

As every year, the list changes. Something relevant has been the surprise fall of the Mexican Carlos Slim Helú, who was among the 10 richest people in the world last year and has now dropped 6 positions to occupy the top spot 14th in the ranking, with a fortune valued at 102 billion dollars.

Other notable billionaires include Google’s Larry Page, India’s Mukesh Ambani with a diversified portfolio, and tech leaders like Bill Gates, Steven Ballmer, Larry Ellison, and Mark Zuckerberg, whose net worths range from $114 billion to $177 billion. Warren Buffett, known for his investment savvy through Berkshire Hathaway, also holds his own on the list with $133 billion.

The diversity of sources of wealth ranges from technology and telecommunications to fashion and retail.
