The White House confirmed to CNN Turk the postponement of the visit of Tof President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Washington on May 9.
According to the correspondent of the television station in Washington, there was an announcement from the White House in which it is stated: “We look forward to hosting President Erdogan at the White House at a mutually convenient time. However, we were unable to adjust our schedules. We have no visit to announce at this time.”
It is recalled that senior sources said on Friday that Erdogan has postponed his visit to the White House that was scheduled for May 9. The decision was made as a result changes in the Turkish president’s agenday, the sources said, adding that a new date will be set soon, Bloomberg reported, citing the sources.
