Under the concept of ‘Zero Footprint Fair’, a commitment to the environment is evident, through the implementation of practices and technologies to reduce the environmental impact of the event and livestock farming in general.

In addition, an international focus is highlighted in programming and associated events, as well as a robust academic agenda that addresses everything from traditional aspects to the latest innovations in the livestock industry.

The 2024 National Livestock Fair, which will take place from June 6 to 16, will extend for 10 consecutive days for the first time in its history, thus offering an even more complete experience for visitors. This extension also allows us to delve deeper into fundamental topics, such as the academic agenda with international experts, which promotes the competitiveness of the sector.

One of the most notable initiatives is the Fam Trip, designed to position the Fair and the department as an outstanding destination for livestock tourism worldwide. Additionally, in collaboration with the National Federation of Departments, a Governors’ Summit will be held that will strengthen ties between regions and open new development opportunities in the livestock sector.

In the livestock context of the fair, Córdoba stands as a livestock department par excellence, representing 10% of the national livestock inventory and 30% of the regional one. The inclusion of new species and the distribution of pavilions by thematic sections offer a diversified experience for visitors, highlighting the importance of the participation of various guilds and organizations for the success and relevance of the fair at a national and international level.

In addition to traditional breeds such as Gyr, Guzerá and Brahman, and those of the dual-purpose system, the fair will present new breeds such as Wagyu and Nelore, further enriching the diversity and attraction of the event.
