Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of WhatsApp, added one of the functions most anticipated by users, from now on you can have two active accounts, at the same time and logged in, on the same device.
This update facilitates the needs of users, making it no longer necessary to log out of one profile to access the other, carry two cell phones or worry about sending a message from the wrong account. Until now, WhatsApp was designed to work with a single phone number on the same device, and if you wanted to have another account, you needed another cell phone.
How do I activate both WhatsApp accounts?
Remember that to get this feature you must update the application before following the steps. To configure this new function on your cell phone you need a second phone number and a SIM card or a phone that accepts multiple SIMs or eSIM. Then you must open the WhatsApp settings, press the three dots on the right, and enter settings.
Once in the menu, you will press the arrow next to your name and then “add account”. From there you can also control the settings and privacy of each notification separately.
