In a statement, the Ministry of Health said that the Pap test is a safe procedure that takes no more than 15 minutes and consists of collecting cells from the cervix with a small brush that is sent to the laboratory for analysis.

The SSA reiterated the importance of preventing and raising awareness among women about this virus, within the framework of the National Day of the Fight Against Cervical Cancer, which is commemorated every August 9.
