Former Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Intelligence Division (DB) and currently Additional Superintendent of Police Md. The Ministry of Home Affairs has taken the initial decision to send Golam Saklayen to compulsory retirement. An opinion has been sought from the Bangladesh Labor Commission (PSC) in this regard. This incident happened due to the relationship with actress Parimani.
Since the news about this matter has been published in the media, a lot of discussion and criticism has been going on in the social media. Jago News contacted Saklayen to inquire about this matter, but there was no response.
However, Parimani said to the media, ‘You see, the matter has not come to the personal level yet, if it comes to the personal level, then I will speak. I don’t think I need to say anything now.’
At the time of the illicit relationship with Parimani, police officer Golam Saklayen was in charge of the ADC of the Intelligence-Gulshan Division. He was transferred to Public Order Management (POM) after the incident came to light. He was then transferred as Superintendent of Police at Jhenaidah Inservice Training Centre.
According to sources, it has been decided to send the police officer on compulsory retirement in the departmental case in Parimani case. An order signed by Under-Secretary Rokeya Parveen Jui from Disciplinary-2 Branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs on June 13 has directed to suggest ‘compulsory retirement’ from service to Golam Saklayen as a ‘punishment’.
