It’s been about three months since Tesla started selling an updated version of the Model 3 in Europe, China and the Middle East.
Now the 2024 version of the sedan produced by Elon Musk’s car company is available for purchase in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and arrives in North America with notable improvements in design and features.
The model, known internally as Highland, features a more refined and aerodynamic aesthetic, with a new bonnet and low-profile headlights, as well as two new colors: Stealth Gray and Ultra Red.
Furthermore, it will be offered in two different versions, a long-range all-wheel drive with dual motors and a more economical rear-wheel drive version.

In terms of performance, the long Model 3 boasts an estimated range of up to 549 kilometers (341 miles), surpassing its predecessor which reached 536 kilometers (333 miles). The rear-wheel drive model, however, maintains a range of 438 kilometers (272 miles).
Tesla is reducing many of its listed ranges in response to a new U.S. government regulation that tests vehicles to ensure they provide accurate estimates
Despite the updates, both models retain the same starting price as their previous year equivalents.
However, there is a reduction in the top speed, limited to 201 km/h, compared to the 225 km/h of the 2023 model and the discontinued Performance model, which reached 261 km/h (162 mph).

The exterior of the car also features some improvements, with Tesla integrating fog lights and indicators into the main headlights.
The 2024 Model 3 also forgoes the front bumper with “styling optimized for maximum aerodynamics.”
Indeed, the characteristic front bulge has been removed, with a more elegant bonnet and lower profile headlights compared to the previous model, which should mean greater autonomy.
And at the rear, the lights are connected completely rather than in two separate pieces.
