Ismayil Dagestanli created the character of Fatali Khan Khoyski in the film. Apart from Khan Khoyski, Aziz, an officer of the Republic played by Rasim Balayev, and Khudadat bey Rafibeyli, the Minister of Health of the Republic and later the governor of Ganja, are shown as the main negative roles. The representative of the Bolsheviks, Katir Mammad, is legendary. In this screenplay, the representatives of the national government presented in a negative light were actually the real mujahideen of Azerbaijan’s independence.
