“Probably every Georgian wished that someday our team would participate in such a big tournament. The day this dream came true was the happiest day for all of us. But we did not come here just to participate. We want to leave our mark and write a new page in history at Euro 2024. We will do our best for this. Our team is fully focused on the upcoming tournament and is ready for it. All of Georgia is waiting for our debut. On June 18, the whole country will unite, we will try to win.

We are preparing with maximum intensity, because there is very little time left for our dream – the first game of the national team in the Euro. We get caught up in emotions, but we try to control them. We try to prepare as well as possible for the first game, because it is the most important. In whatever mood we start, we will continue. Our first goal, like every other team, is to qualify for the group stage, and we will do our best for that.”

It should be noted that the Georgian national team is in Group F together with the national teams of Portugal, Czech Republic and Turkey. Georgians will play their first game in the tournament on June 18 against “Moon Stars”. The starting whistle of the meeting will be given at 20:00.
