Western Economic Aggression Failed to Destroy Russia

JAKARTA – Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that the economic aggression launched by the west had failed to destroy Russia even though they wanted to create a lot of unemployment by closing companies in this country.

“We know very well what they started from an economic perspective, namely actually carrying out economic aggression against Russia and there is no other way to describe it,” said Putin in a meeting with members of the Russian government as reported by Sputnik, Tuesday (7/5/2024) .

Putin emphasized that Russia’s enemies had failed and had not achieved their goals. He emphasized that the Russian economy managed to grow faster than the global economy last year. The procedure for the formation of Russia’s new government will take place in the near future and everything must be done to avoid a break in the work of the executive branch during this period, Vladimir Putin said.

“You know that in the near future, in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the procedure for the formation of a new government will take place. During this period, everything necessary must be done so that the implementation of the plan can continue actively and a break in our work can be avoided. Therefore, “I expect concentration, calm and results-oriented work from colleagues at all levels of executive power,” he said.

Putin also thanked Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and his cabinet of ministers for their professionalism and understanding of their enormous responsibility before the people for every step and decision.
