Westcol is again in trouble after starring in the streets of Medellín

In the early hours of Monday, March 24, the Creator of Content and Streamer Luis Villa, known as Westcol, returned to star in a friction with transit agents in the streets of Medellín for an infraction that was recorded on video, because the Paisa was in the middle of a live.

In the video, which was already viral on social networks, it is seen that the influencer is driving its Cadillac truck through the streets of Medellín when uniformed men ask him to stop.

“Oh, right? Police procedure at this point in life …”, says the creator of content to the uniformed who arrested them. “Mr. Luis Fernando, the plaque is in an irregular position, the plate should not go there,” said the uniformed by noticing that the plate was on the windshield on the right side.

Given that, Westcol said that the structure of the truck did not allow him to locate the plate on the grill like the rest of the cars, to which the transit agent refuted him by ensuring that he had to obey the code.

According to the National Traffic Code, travel without visible or conditions that hinder its identification results in an infraction of 347,000 Colombian pesos, a fine that was imposed on streamer.

In the video, Westcol tried to persuade the traffic agent ensuring that they cannot fine it because the plate is visible.

“In the legislation also says that if the plate is visible, nothing happens,” said the creator of content, to which the uniformed replied: “It is not visible, an order to compare for not having the plaque is going to be generated in place that it is … and keep in mind that this is an infraction that generates immobility of the vehicle, at this time it will be immobilized.”

Before the responses of the content creator, the uniformed man asked Westcol to get off the vehicle so that he corroborated that the plate was not visible inside the vehicle, in addition the police taught him a photo taken with his phone where the plate is not detailed.

“No Brother, but you are recording me there with a dad my bro,” said Westcol referring to the phone with which the uniformed had recorded his vehicle. “There the truth, the truth, is a bad procedure. My brother we have walked with this car up and down, the plate is completely visible, you can be done in that corner and you will see it perfect, this is shit,” he replied to the uniformed.

Despite the inconvenience with traffic agents in Medellín, Westcol has not shared its feeling on social networks, as it has done on other occasions, because it apparently has preferred to maintain the moment.

The punishments for driving without plates in Colombia

Transit regulations in Colombia establishes that all vehicles must carry visible plates and in good condition, a measure that seeks to guarantee the identification of motor rates in the national territory.

According to the National Traffic Code, breaching this provision can lead to significant economic sanctions, in addition to other possible legal consequences. The code details that the fine for driving without plates, known as the B03 infraction, applies to those who circulate without this mandatory element, carry it incorrect or alter it.

According to current regulations, the plates are considered the official identification of a vehicle before the transport authorities. For this reason, its use is mandatory and must meet certain requirements.

As stipulated in the National Traffic Code, “no car vehicle enrolled in Colombia may carry in the place destined for distinctive plates similar to these or that imitate it (…) these must be free of obstacles that hinder their full identification.” This means that the plates must be perfectly visible and cannot be adulterated or covered by any object.

In accordance with the provisions of Law 769 of 2002 of the National Land Transit Code, circular without visible plates or in conditions that hinder its identification constitutes a B03 infraction, which implies a fine of $ 347,000 and the immobilization of the vehicle. With Infobae
