West Africa: BOAD grants nearly 8.5 billion CFA francs for 10 projects in 4 countries

The 140th Board of Directors of the West African Development Bank (BOAD) held in December 2023 in Cotonou, Benin allowed, as is the practice, to approve the minutes of the 139th advice.

But last December’s meeting of the BOAD above all allowed the authorization of ten (10) new operations in four (04) countries in the sub-region (Burkina-Faso, Mali, Ivory Coast, Senegal) for an amount total of 238.5 billion FCFA.

This financial approval brings to 8,412.9 billion FCFA the total commitments to date (all operations combined) of BOAD, since the start of its operational activities in 1976.

The approved loans concern the partial financing of the projects summarized in the table below.

In the related publication, BOAD informs that it has, on the occasion, also approved the restructuring of the conditions of its loan for the partial financing of the renovation and operation project of the 2 February Hotel in Lomé by the Kalyan Hospitality Development Togo Company (KHDT SAU) in Lomé, Togo.
