Weather | Thunderstorms are moving across the Czech Republic. It is raining heavily in places

On Sunday morning, it rained especially in Bohemia. “At some stations in Ústí, we measured over 20 mm per hour. The occlusion front is passing us. While it is already cloudy in the Czech Republic, in Moravia and especially in Silesia they can still enjoy the morning sunrise. If you heard thunder this morning, you didn’t think so. In fact, there are even weak thunderstorms on rare occasions,” informs the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).

According to him, the precipitation band is moving towards Moravia and Silesia, but it will not bring widespread rain. “More localized showers and thunderstorms will occur here (but it will rain only in parts of the territory, certainly not everywhere). Likewise in the Czech Republic, where it also storms in the afternoon. The storms should not be significantly strong,” reports ČHMÚ, stating that precipitation will stop in the evening and in the evening.

Temperatures will range between 21 and 25 degrees Celsius today. Summer temperatures are expected only exceptionally. It will slowly start to warm up again from Mondaywhen temperatures will rise to 26 degrees Celsius and on Tuesday to 27 degrees Celsius.
