The cold should give way to heat in the coming days, according to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, published yesterday. Weather influenced by the trade wind regime is expected tomorrow and next Saturday, while the passage of a frontal system in the south of the country will mark the day of Friday.
As for temperatures, a rise in maximum temperatures is expected in the Highlands for tomorrow. Next Friday, this upward trend will also be present near the eastern coasts of the country. However, a significant drop in temperatures is expected in the regions of Atsimo-Andrefana, Androy and Anosy, according to forecasts published by the country’s weather service. For example, maximum temperatures will vary from 20°C in Mantasoa to 35°C in Analalava or Antsohihy. These trends should remain almost stationary for the next three days.
