Weather: “Fireplace” the country until Monday with 40s – The scene changes from Tuesday

The mercury is expected to climb to 40 degrees in the next few days in several regions of Greece, with the heat persisting, but also with the strong winds of up to 7 Beaufort which gradually weaken.

Generally clear with sparse clouds in the northern continental areas that will thicken in the midday and afternoon hours and possibly in the mountains of Macedonia and Epirus local rains will occur.

Winds will blow from north directions 4 to 5 and in the Aegean 6 temporary local 7 Beaufort with gradual weakening.

The temperature will fluctuate in high levels and reach 35 to 37 degrees, in places 38 to 39 degrees in the mainland, locally in the west and south 40 degrees and in the eastern island country 33 to 35 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA

Weather: Clear.

Winds: North northeast 4 to 5 and in the east 6 temporary local 7 Beaufort with gradual weakening.

Temperature: From 25 to 37 degrees Celsius. In the east and north the maximum will be 2 to 3 degrees lower.

THESSALONIKI

Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds that will thicken in places in the mountains in the midday and afternoon hours.

Winds: South southeast 3 to 4 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 23 to 37 degrees Celsius.

MACEDONIA, THRACE

Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds that will thicken in the midday and afternoon hours and possibly localized rain in the mountains of Macedonia.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the east east northeast 4 to 5 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 20 to 37 to 38 and in places in central Macedonia 39 degrees Celsius.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
