Weather: 40 days are coming – The 6 regions that will “burn”

A prolonged heat wave is expected over the next few days as the mercury gradually rises with next Tuesday being the hottest day as the temperature in places could even “touch” 40 degrees.

According to the forecast of the EMY, for today Saturday, clear weather is predicted throughout the country and only in the midday-afternoon hours in the northern continental regions, temporary clouds will develop and it is possible that there will be local rains or showers in the mountains.

Visibility in the morning hours to the west and north will be locally limited.

The winds in the Aegean will blow southerly up to 5 Beaufort and in the rest of the areas they will be variable 2 to 4 Beaufort. In the midday hours, sea breezes will prevail in the coastal areas.

The temperature will rise and reach 32 to 33 degrees on the mainland and 34 degrees in places in the east and 28 to 30 degrees Celsius in the island regions.
