Regarding the clubs, the journalist pointed out that the investment that the clubs have made alone is not enough to change the current situation, as some investment has already been made and the clubs have not been able to achieve positive results.

“We need to do more to have a different kind of football than what is currently being played… we need to have other ambitions”these.

Looking at the poor performance of Angolan clubs in the group stage of the CAF Champions League, where they did not win any game in five already played, Domingos Quitumba said that it is not enough to simply look at Girabola and want to be in continental competitions.

As for football at national team level, the journalist points out the focus on training as the best way to achieve the desired results and have a better national team within five or six years..

“Angola went to the world cup in 2006, if this situation is not reversed, we could go 20 or 30 years without returning to a world championship”he stated.

Domingos Quitumba, a journalist for Radio 5, was born on February 2, 1976 in Luanda, and is known for following the “Father of Goal”, José Quissanga, on sports broadcasts.
