In the Digital News Report 2024 published by Reuters News Institute, sondakika.com ranked second among the most read weekly news sites with 27 percent, while haber.com managed to rank seventh with 16 percent.

REUTERS PUBLISHED THE DIGITAL NEWS REPORT

This year, as every year, Reuters Institute published the Digital News Report 2024, which provides comprehensive data about the digital media world. The report analyzed media consumption habits and credibility levels through surveys conducted in 47 countries around the world. Turkey was among these countries and it contained important data on media usage habits.

SONDAKİKA.COM PLACED SECOND, HABERLER.COM PLACED SEVENTH

The report also included data on the most read news sites in Turkey. The success of haber.com and sondakika.com drew attention in the table. Sondakik.com ranked second among the most visited news sites with 27 percent. Among the sites visited at least 3 days a week, sondakika.com ranked second with 14 percent.

CONTENT OF THE REPORT

The Digital News Report 2024 examined in detail the usage rates of digital and traditional media platforms, the public’s trust in news sources and media consumption habits.

The report discussed weekly access rates of television, radio and print publications, as well as online news sites. Additionally, the degree of trust in news brands was also comprehensively evaluated.
