According to a report from the Hanoi Food Hygiene and Safety Department, the Poison Control Center (Bach Mai Hospital) received a case of a patient using the product Detox Apple to support weight loss purchased on social networks.

Through medical history, this woman used a weight loss drug product called Detox Apple that was sold online. The product has two types of pill-like pills, yellow and green. At the hospital, the patient was diagnosed with poisoning from the banned substance Sibutramine.
According to analysis results of the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, the above product contains Sibutramine, a substance banned from use in health protection foods.
Through data search, the Department of Food Safety has not yet issued a product declaration registration receipt for the Detox Apple product.
