Wall Street closes in green and the Dow Jones rises 0.69%

Wall Street closed this Tuesday in green and its main indicator, the Dow Jones, rose 0.69% after a day focused on the quarterly results of large US companies.

At the close of the session, the Dow Jones stood at 38,503 points; The S&P 500 rose 1.20% to 5,070 points, and the Nasdaq rose 1.59% to 15,696 points.

Among the companies that released results today was Spotify, which soared 11% after indicating good prospects, while PepsiCo fell 3% after reporting lower demand.

Nearly a fifth of the S&P 500 companies have published their figures and the vast majority have exceeded estimates, so the technology companies’ figures are expected with good spirits starting today.

Tomorrow the market will react to Tesla’s results, which are scheduled for this afternoon.
