The legal team of VOX has filed three complaints before the investigative courts of Vergara, Guecho and Azpeitia due to «high level of harassment and violence» that the party claims to be suffering from since the beginning of the electoral campaign for the Basque elections next Sunday. They point out that these events are being carried out by radical left groups, self-proclaimed “anti-fascists”, and associated with the nationalist left.
Specifically, the training chaired by Santiago Abascal has denounced the events that occurred on April 13, in Guecho y Mondragonand on April 14 in Substitutewhere “radical left” groups called for counter-demonstrations in the places where VOX had announced that campaign events: “These individuals are gathering to prevent the celebration, shouting, shouting and raising the level of violence, going from insults to threats, from these to coercion, and on some occasions, as has been proven and are notorious facts, to physical attacks»party sources explain.
The events that motivated the three complaints occurred during the first weekend of the electoral campaign. In Guecho, VOX had announced an electoral event in the Plaza de Aldapa. That same afternoon, in Mondragón, VOX set up an information table. In the three complaints presented, the formation requests the corresponding court to release the Ertzaintza Central Intelligence Office to analyze the videos provided, in order to identify the people involved in the apparently criminal acts.
