Chennai: Vivo has recently launched its Vivo V30 series. There’s the more expensive V30 Pro and V30 that we tested. The Vivo V30 is priced under Rs 35,000 and ticks some of the key boxes. But it’s the design language that impressed us the most. The V30 stands out in the segment with its sleek design and distinctive design aesthetic. Vivo has opted for some nice shades of blue and green with a tilt towards India. We checked out Peacock Green, there is also Andaman Blue which is pleasing to the eyes. The other design element we discovered is the rear camera module with clean lines and rounded corners. We also accept the negligible camera bump.
One of our favorite features of the V30 is the dual rear cameras. This dual 50MP (primary + ultra-wide) camera lacks the Carl Zeiss optics that are the highlight of the pricier V30 Pro, but it is a very reliable camera. The V30 benefits from Vivo’s True Color camera. Bionic-Spectrum VCS technology that delivers lifelike images. Portraits get a boost from Vivo’s proprietary Aura Light, a mini-ring light. We also liked the selfies captured with the 50MP selfie camera. The V30 is one of the best looking devices in this price band and breaks the clutter in this segment (Starting at Rs 33,999)
