Strong institutional support for a dynamic energy sector
The presence of Prime Minister Ntsay Christian, who piloted privatization in 2000, gave a historical dimension to the event. You have contributed to economic development, created jobs and strengthened energy security, “he said. Mr. Raveloson, who participated in the privatization process in the 1990s, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a reinforced public-private partnership. He insisted on the need to invest in rural areas, to respect environmental standards and to ensure continuity of supply in the face of international uncertainties. “The State is ready to support these structuring projects for an accessible, sustainable and inclusive energy,” he concluded, wishing a happy birthday and an additional 25 years of success to Vivo Energy Madagascar. With 78 service stations through Madagascar, Vivo Energy continues to support key sectors such as mines, construction, industry, transport and marine energy, providing fuels, lubricants and solar solutions.
