Viral! This Foreigner Wears Underwear at a Balinese Temple, Netizen: Deportation

JAKARTA – A video becomes viral when showing the behavior of foreign tourists who make you shake your head when visiting Bali.

In the video circulating, a foreigner is seen wearing only a t-shirt and underwear when he goes to a temple in Bali.

The moment was uploaded by X’s account, @sammisoh. A group of foreigners was seen letting one of their family members into the temple, where one of them was seen wearing a t-shirt and underwear.

“Many foreigners do not obey etiquette when entering sacred Hindu sites in Bali,” wrote the account, quoted on Tuesday (16/4/2024).

Seeing this incident, Balinese pecalang or security officers also rebuked this foreigner’s action. They also detained one family because their members were dressed inappropriately.

Instead of accepting it, a man suspected of being the head of a Caucasian family became angry, not accepting it because they were stopped because they were inadequately dressed.

The foreigner was seen arguing with the pecalang and sneaking into the temple area. He was also heard insisting because he felt he had already bought an entry ticket.

“One of the family members only wore a bikini with a T-shirt top. “This foreigner insists on moving forward, what do you want to do with this impudent foreigner?” he wrote.

The foreigner didn’t seem to care about the pecalang’s warnings. It can be seen that he also continued his tour to the temple.
