Aston Villa has finished a great season in the English Premier League. Kara finished the league from the top four by playing brilliantly. In the new decision, Villa has extended the contract with Emery by 5 years. As such, the Spanish coach will stay at Villa until 2029. The club announced the extension of the contract with Emery on Monday.
“We are going to do great things at Villa,” Villa chairman Nassef Sawaris said of the new deal. At the root of which is Unai. We are delighted that he has signed a new contract with the club until 2029.’
Emery joined Villa from La Liga club Villarreal in October 2022. Villa were in danger of relegation when he took over. In the same season, the club came to the seventh place under this Spanish coach. Emery brought Villa to the top four this time.
