Vietnamese carriers need world experience in commercializing 5G

Over the past 10 years, carriers have been looking for opportunities to increase revenue, including the deployment of 5G. Ericsson can organize seminars to share how to increase revenue when deploying 5G commercialization as well as new business models.

The Ministry of Information and Communications supports Ericsson to cooperate with universities to build labs for students to access technology and develop new applications.

Emphasizing the potential of Vietnamese people in math and STEM subjects, the Minister of Information and Communications also suggested that Ericsson open a research (R&D) center in Vietnam to develop products for the global market. .

Vietnam is considering some digital platforms as a type of infrastructure, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung expects Ericsson to continue participating in the process of building digital infrastructure and developing the digital economy in Vietnam.

At the end of the meeting, the head of Ericsson once again affirmed his commitment to accompany Vietnam and wished to cooperate more closely with government agencies and domestic businesses.
