Videos show the participation of the mayor of Zapotitlán in an execution

PUEBLA, Pue. (apro).- The mayor of Zapotitlán de Méndez, Emiliano Vázquez Bonilla, was captured on videos, along with his brother Higinio and other men he trusted, when he allegedly participated in the execution of Ramón Malagón García, who served as driver and escort of Salvador Tino Martínez, candidate of the Labor Party and winner in the June 2 contest.

The residents handed over Process five videos, three of which show the mayor, who has been a fugitive since June 1, when, along with other men, he held Malagón García on the banks of the Zempoala River. In the first images, the driver is alive and then he is seen with a bloody chest, and then he is taken from that place by civilians, pulled by all four limbs.

Since these events, it is presumed that the councilor – who was elected by the PRI, but a few months ago resigned from that party to join the so-called 4T – remains hidden in Zapotitlán itself, like his brother Higinio, who was even has seen in the streets of that town in the Sierra Norte of Puebla.

In the first recording delivered to Process It can be seen that Malagón García is still alive as he is sitting on the waters of the river, presumably injured, while the mayor is accompanied by three other subjects, one of whom is checking a fagot-type bag. Vázquez Bonilla is identified by the residents as the man who appears from behind in a white shirt and jeans.

In the second video you can see the PT driver already lying face down and when they turn him over you can see his bloody chest. Before that you can see when Emiliano gives another man an object, which according to testimonies is a gun, which he hastily puts in a bag with a strap.

In the third recording there are eight men at the scene in addition to the victim and it is seen when two of them begin to carry Malagón García’s legs and arms, who is presumed to be already dead.

In that scene, Higinio Vázquez Bonilla, the mayor’s brother, as well as other civilians named José Luis Rojas, Javier Vázquez, Jadid Luis Cano, as well as Uriel and Diego Cortez Luna, are also identified.

Another of the men, who wears a black t-shirt and cap, carries a machine gun in his hands, but the residents do not know his name because he is not a resident of Zapotitlán. At that moment, the person to whom the mayor previously gave an object, identified as Noé Ordoñez, who is a pedicab driver, is no longer there.

The municipal president’s clothing matches what he wears in another video that was released on June 1, in which he can be seen holding a gun. In that same recording, Malagón García can be seen apparently hiding inside a store.

According to testimonies, after Tino Martínez was the closest contender for Adelaida Vázquez Bonilla, Emiliano’s sister and Morena’s candidate for mayor, that day, which was the eve of the voting, people from the mayor blocked the way for the petistas. with a cherry truck, which was recorded in another video that was also provided by locals.

The mayor arrived at the scene threatening him with a firearm, so Malagón García remained hidden in a store and then ran out the back, towards the river, to where he was chased with bullets.

In videos four and five you can see the men, who were with Vázquez Bonilla on the bank of the river, carrying the victim carrying all four limbs to take him out the steps of a hotel called La Roca, even though he was already dead, without waiting for the arrival of the Public Ministry.

Also on June 1, residents of Zapotitlán released a video showing two municipal police officers and another person arriving at the hospital with the body of the driver, loaded face down, pulling his arms and the blue and aqua green shorts, the same one he saw in the photo. river scene.

Until now, the State Attorney General’s Office has not provided further information on this case, while the City Council has remained silent since that day.

Last week, elements of the FGEP, supported by the National Guard, seized two vehicles, a jeep truck and another black double cabin owned by Vázquez Bonilla.

In Zapotitlán there is a tense situation, since no reinforcements were sent to maintain security, which is still in charge of the municipal police at the service of the escaped municipal president, when a part of the population is the one that publicly accused him of the murder of Malagón Garcia.

They fear that the crime will go unpunished

The neighbors fear that the councilor will go unpunished for these events, since he himself claims to be protected by Julio Huerta Gómez, former Secretary of the Interior, who sought to be a candidate for governor for Morena and was coordinator of Claudia Sheinbaum’s pre-campaign in Puebla.

Furthermore, in January of this year, Vázquez Bonilla was presented as one of the mayors who resigned from the PRI and joined the 4T, at the invitation of Jorge Estefan Chidiac, now Secretary of State Education and considered one of the operators of the triumph. of Morena in this entity.

Before being municipal president, Emiliano was a judicial police officer and commander of the police of the municipality of Zaragoza, where he left because the population accused him of being linked to crime.

Already as mayor, in August 2020 he was arrested by the municipal police of Caxhuacan for causing a scandal on public roads and, in January 2022, the mayor was reported for allegedly having shot, while drunk, at a primary school during work hours with the presence of minors and teachers. He was also prosecuted for assaulting and threatening an elderly person.

During a visit that Governor Salomón Céspedes Peregrina made to that town, the mothers of children affected by the school shooting approached him and the president promised to “request” reports on the investigation file against the municipality, but nothing happened.

On his social networks, Vázquez Bonilla showed off just last week – when he was already a fugitive – photographs and videos of a trip he made to Badiraguato, Sinaloa, birthplace of “El Chapo” Guzmán and other leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Victim of an attack

In contrast, Adelaida Vázquez Bonilla, losing Morena candidate, assured that her brother was the victim of an attack, for which she requested the intervention of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Claudia Sheinbaum, due to alleged threats and intimidation against him by Tino Martínez.

It should be noted that the murdered driver and security guard is not a resident of Zapotitlán de Méndez either, as he was originally from Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, and allegedly worked for a private security company.
