Rio – A bus lost control and collided with a wall in Rua Barão do Bom Retiro, in Engenho Novo, in the North Zone, in the early evening of this Saturday (13). The vehicle was from line 625, which ran on the Penha x Saens Peña route.
According to the fire department, the Grajaú fire station was called at 7.24pm. The military arrived on site to treat a man with moderate injuries. Rio Ônibus reported that there were no injuries.
The images show the moment the passengers are removed from the vehicle with the help of military police before the firefighters arrive. The wall was completely destroyed.

Rio Ônibus also informed that he regrets what happened. “The company is providing due assistance to the people involved and awaits the results of the technical assessment to understand the dynamics of the accident,” he explained in a statement.
