The Moroccan Film Center announced that Morocco will be a special guest, for the first time, on the activities of the “Bridge of Production” program at the Venice Festival, along with the United Kingdom and Chilean.

A communiqué indicated to the center that this coronation comes within the framework of its international promotional strategy, which is in line with the open workshops in the areas of joint production, distribution, and the valuation of emerging talents.

The Moroccan attendees will shine by participating in the most prominent “production bridge” stations at the Venice Festival; Among them is the “Venice Gap-Finance Market”, which is dedicated to projects for financing, and “Book Adaptation Rights Market”, which is concerned with literary works that can be converted into work on the screen.

This also includes Morocco’s participation in the “Final Cut in Venice” program, which focuses on post -production films, and the effectiveness of “Meet the Streamers”, which is directed to communication with the most prominent global platforms, in addition to displaying a selection of interactive interactive projects.

The communication concluded that this attendance will be accompanied by an important Moroccan delegation, consisting of the Moroccan Film Center and the professionals of the sector, stressing that this participation reflects the collective and motor ambition of a system that is betting on strengthening its professional partnerships in the major international markets.

It is worth noting that this qualitative presence of Moroccan cinema within the activities of the Venice Festival is the result of communication efforts with the organizers, which was launched since last year, under the leadership of Abdulaziz Al -Boujdini, the Acting President of the Moroccan Film Center, with the aim of ensuring greater radiation for the filmmaking in the Kingdom, and enabling it to reach a higher stage of development in the future.
