Vehicle Inspection in Aksaray with Mobile License Plate Recognition System

In Aksaray, all vehicles in the city are inspected day and night with the Mobile Plate Recognition System (MPTS).

The Provincial Police Department teams, who carry out many works to ensure public peace and security and to prevent possible incidents, also inspect the vehicles in traffic day and night. While the vehicles entering the city are inspected with fixed plate recognition systems at the city entrance, the vehicles in the city traffic are inspected one by one with the Mobile Plate Recognition System with cameras on the vehicle. The MPTS vehicles located in the Combating Narcotic Crimes, Combating Smuggling and Organized Crimes, Combating Terrorism, Public Order and Traffic Registration and Inspection Departments are on duty on many streets and avenues of the city both day and night. The system, which reads the license plates of passing vehicles, scans the vehicle plate for impounded, seized, double plate, wanted person vehicle, vehicle involved in the incident and sends an instant alert to the system. When the alert is received in the system, the MPTS teams immediately notify the teams in the region and take the vehicle. While the necessary procedures are carried out for the vehicle taken, the Aksaray Police Department carries out the MTPS application in many points of the city day and night. – AKSARAY
