Japanese knockout monster boxer, Naoya Inoue , was criticized because he was considered only good at home. Unexpectedly, Inoue actually responded to the criticism with a surprising cold comment.

Naoya Inoue, who currently holds the title of undisputed bantamweight ruler, has just defeated Stephen Fulton from Philadelphia in a duel that took place in Japan. Naoya Inoue won sensationally which made his record even more terrifying, namely (26-0, 23 KOs).

However, the victory was considered less than perfect because Inoue was fighting in his homeland in Japan. Former welterweight boxer Shawn Porter said Naoya Inoue wouldn’t be the true bantamweight king if he didn’t fight in the United States.

Naoya Inoue responded to this criticism with a classy answer. According to him, no one is better than him, even a boxer from the United States, so he doesn’t need to feel like he has to cross to another continent to hold a fight.

“The home of the lightweight division (low weight division) is now in Japan. If you want to see a fight, come to Japan. If there’s a better opponent in America, I’d be happy to go.” Inoue said.

Even though he often fights in Japan, it is important to note that Inoue has fought in the United States on two occasions. He defeated Michael Dasmarinas in 2021 during a fight in Vegas. That was before stopping Jason Moloney in Vegas.
