US and China statements at Bagram Airbus: What is the importance of this base?

US President Donald Trump once again vowed to withdraw the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan again, which China reiterated in response to ‘not supporting the atmosphere’, although Afghan rulers have not officially called it a “power”, according to an analyst.

The Bagram Air Base in Parwan Province, Afghanistan, is about 500 km from Xinjiang province, China.

During a briefing by the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Trump’s statement regarding the Bagram Airbus, spokesman Lane Jian said that China respects Afghanistan’s sovereignty, independence and integrity.

According to Lane Jian: ‘The atmosphere of trouble and conflict in the region will not be supported and we hope that all sides will play a role in the peace and sustainability of the region.’

China’s response to the US president’s statement has come to light, but no formal statement has been formally revealed by the Afghan Taliban, but an Afghan Foreign Ministry official has spoken.

Zakir Jalali, the Second Political Director of the Afghan Foreign Ministry, said in a response posted on X that the United States built relations with Afghanistan for the common economic interests.

However, Zakir Jalali said that the United States should establish this relationship in Afghanistan without any of its military presence.

Zakir Jalali wrote: ‘Donald Trump is a successful businessman and he has done this under one purpose, but the Afghans have never considered the foreign troops in history and this hope has ended after the Doha agreement but the doors of the rest are open.’

The Bagram Air Base was also debated in February this year, when reports came out that the US warplane landed at the Bagram Air Base.

At that time, the Afghan Taliban denied that the Bagram Air Base is not with China or the United States but with Afghan forces and that there is no Chinese soldier in the base.
