Most diseases manifest themselves in the cold season, but some may worsen in the summer.
Publika.az reports that these words were said by urologist-andrologist Alexey Shkaburin in an interview with Lenta.ru. According to the doctor, cystitis – inflammation of the bladder (occurs in both women and men, but usually more common in women), prostatitis – inflammation of the prostate (male disease only) usually worsens in the summer months. And all this comes out when you swim a lot in cool water. Therefore, the doctor recommends going to the beach within ten minutes. In addition, dirty water can also aggravate various infections.
“Infections can also be the result of resort romances, so it’s worth using protective contraception. If you have had unprotected sex, you should get tested for sexually transmitted infections, because they can be asymptomatic, even if nothing worries you, it’s important to be checked,” – the doctor emphasized.
In the summer season, the doctor advised to pay more attention to the kidneys. Dehydration of the body associated with hot weather can lead to precipitation of salts and formation of stones. In addition, in the summer, the body needs more fluid, so the kidneys are constantly working, as a result, the load on the body increases. However, it is important to drink enough water at room temperature. It is easy to calculate the daily rate: 40 ml of water per 1 kg of body weight in women, 30 ml per 1 kg of body weight in men.
