Until the end of the month, the public health protection measures against the coronavirus will remain in place at Hatzikosta Hospital.
As stated in the announcement of the administration, vaccinated and unvaccinated attendants, from Monday to Friday, it is recommended that the attendants of the patients perform a daily rapid test, which will be demonstrated upon entry (rapid test valid for daily entry to the Hospital).
For patients who come to a public health structure for an examination, either with a regular appointment or as an emergency, a laboratory test using a rapid test is recommended.
On the weekend, there will be a rapid test (48 hours) that will have been carried out on Friday, for the patients’ companions, which will be shown at the entrance.
It is reminded that, in the forecourt of the Hospital, Monday to Friday, 8:00-14:00, it is possible to carry out a free rapid test, by the EODY’s COMY units.
In exceptional cases and for a seriously ill patient, consultation will be made with the Director of the respective Medical Department that is being treated to allow the presence of an escort.
The accompanying patients are given a card which will be shown to the nursing staff of the Medical Department and will be returned to the Hospital with the patient’s discharge.
The use of a mask is recommended in the Hospital premises, due to an increase in seasonal viruses and covid-19 cases.
It is strictly forbidden to visit the Medical Departments of the Hospital.
