The carnival group União 10 de Outubro is the big winner this Tuesday, in class (A) of Carnival in Live format, 2021 edition.
A historic day for Angolans, particularly residents living in the Urbano da Maianga district, municipality of Luanda, a deserved tribute to the founder of the group Pedro Vidal, for his contribution to the affirmation of the biggest cultural festival in the country (Carnival Live), the group is the big winner of Class A with 166 points taking home two million kwanzas.
In second place was the group União Jovens from Cacimba with (165 points), a prize of 1,500 thousand Akz, in addition, in third place the group Sagrada Esperança from the urban district of Rangel with 164 points took home one million Akz.
Shrovetide took place for the first time in a live format.
The União 10 de Outubro group was founded by Commander Pedro Vidal (in memory) and is made up of 311 people.
