The Under-20 Women’s National Volleyball Team defeated Italy 3-2 in the final of the U20 European Volleyball Championship hosted by Bulgaria and Ireland, becoming undefeated European champions. The final match played in Sofia was watched by TVF President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, TVF Vice President Selahattin Süleymanoğlu and TVF National Teams Responsible YKU Bahar Mert.

CONGRATULATORY FROM MINISTER BAK TO THE UNDER 20 WOMEN’S NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL TEAM

Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak congratulated the Under-20 Women’s National Volleyball Team, which became European Champions by defeating Italy in the final of the U20 European Volleyball Championship, in a message he published.

Minister Bak included the following statements in his congratulatory message:

“I congratulate our Under-20 Women’s Volleyball National Team, who defeated Italy in the finals of the Under-20 Women’s European Championship hosted by Bulgaria and Ireland in Sofia and became European Champions. The determination and success of the young athletes gives great hope for the future of Turkish volleyball.
