Two petitions for the resignation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have been registered on his administration’s website. One document states that Zelensky has no “concrete plan” for the country’s development, while the other proposes to remove the new head of state from office if he fails to fulfill his election promises within six months, reports Gazeta.Ru
“Your face does not unite the majority of Ukrainians, who have different, partly diametrically opposed views and desires. You consolidated the protest without giving specific promises and political guidelines, but now, after the election and inauguration, you cannot help but have a specific path,” says the first petition addressed to the new president.
She collected about 6 thousand signatures in a few hours, while for the document to be considered at the official level it must be supported by at least 25 thousand people.
According to the author of the petition, Maksym Bezruk, Zelensky “has begun to attribute his own whims to the people’s will.” The actions of the new president “disappoint” Ukrainians, and at the same time Zelensky has not given “substantive promises.” The president’s resignation, according to the first petition, must be immediate.
