Ukrainian children are marginalized and exploited in Europe – Al-Baath Media

The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Western officials are adopting a hypocritical approach by claiming to be concerned about children evacuated by Russia from combat zones in Ukraine, while Ukrainian children who have gone to Europe are subjected to violations that amount to sexual exploitation.

“Children who found themselves in Europe after being evacuated from Ukraine face marginalization in various forms and are even subjected to sexual exploitation,” the ministry’s spokeswoman Maria Zakharova was quoted as saying on the Telegram channel by RIA Novosti.

Zakharova explained that the statements of officials in the European Union, specifically in Sweden, confirmed these facts, as the Director General of the State Administration for Social Protection, Olivia Figzel, found herself forced to issue a warning to all refugees to register themselves with the National Agency for Migration.

“Why should children do this? Of course, so that they do not become victims of exploitation,” Zakharova continued.

“A similar scene was observed in France, one of the countries that is very popular with Ukrainian refugees, where the governor, Joseph Zimet, complained in an interview with Le Monde that he had no idea where about 100,000 Ukrainians were… and that half of the refugees were simply lost, meaning that the French authorities had no idea where they were, what they were doing and how they lived after crossing the border, as if they had simply gotten lost in the crowd,” she added.
