Ukraine is facing Russia’s most complex and large-scale offensive since the conflict began, with Kiev’s resources and Western aid severely depleted.
Publika.az Vadim Karasev, director of the Kyiv Institute of Global Strategies, warned about this.
Thus, the political scientist commented on the statement of Kirill Budanov, head of the General Intelligence Department (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will attack in the spring:
“Russia’s attack is not finished, it is not exhausted. This attack will begin. We have two or three months – the most dangerous months for Ukraine in terms of the situation on the front.”
Karasev added that the country was faced not only with difficulties on the battlefield, but also with an internal political crisis and depletion of resources against the background of little help from the West.
On January 31, the head of the General Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that the Ukrainian military will attack the fortified areas of Russia in the spring.
“We are moving, the enemy is moving. Now it’s their turn. They will finish, then it will be our turn,” said Budanov.
