Another village in the eastern part of Ukraine was missed. Russia occupied two villages of Ukraine in the last one week.

Recently, the Russian forces have achieved several successes on the battlefield against Ukraine, which is facing a shortage of ammunition. Ukraine lost the vital city of Avdivka last month. Then this week, Russia captured a village west of the city.

On Thursday (March 21), Russian forces announced the capture of another village just 10 kilometers away from Avdivka.

On this day, the Ministry of Defense of Russia said in a statement that the village of Tonenke in Ukraine has been “liberated” by the Russian armed forces.

Earlier in the day, Russia launched a major missile attack on Kiev. Ukraine claims that Moscow has fired more than 30 missiles at their capital.

The Russian Defense Ministry said it had struck a Ukrainian armed forces ‘command center’ with ‘high-precision weapons’, including hypersonic Kinzhal missiles.

Recently, Ukraine launched several attacks on the border region in the run-up to the presidential election in Russia. In response, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced severe retaliation. After that, Russia announced the capture of two Ukrainian villages and a major attack on Kiev.
