UFC’s “Predator” Shavkat Rakhmonov Names Winner of Edwards Fight

Kazakh UFC fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov gave a prediction for the upcoming July 27 fight for the UFC welterweight title between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad, Liter.kz reports.

According to information Caravan.kzShavkat is confident that of the two opponents, Edwards is currently in peak form.

Belal Muhammad is a slightly one-sided fighter, he gets into the fight more. Leon is more versatile, his striking is very good, his wrestling is very good, he controls, he can do painful holds somewhere. I think it will be a very good fight, let’s see who wins. But I think the champion (Edwards – Author’s note) has a little more chance (of winning),” said Shavkat Rakhmonov.

He himself changed his mind about going to Manchester for this fight as a spectator, but noted that he only enters the octagon if he is confident of his victory.
