Ucayali: Mayor of Masisea arrested for acts of corruption

Waldo Guerra, mayor of the district, allegedly agreed with suppliers to acquire goods and services for a total of 800,000 soles.

The evidence collected suggests that the mayor of Masisea, Waldo Guerra, along with officials and suppliers, would have collaborated to ensure the award of manipulated contests for the acquisition of goods and services.

A case related to the sale of fuel is being thoroughly investigated, where the third PNP non-commissioned officer Róger Armando Medina Márquez benefited, who acted as supplier selling at considerably higher prices to those of the local and national market.

Both the mayor and the police officer are under arrest along with the former municipal manager Bradley Voob Ruiz Tapullimathe supplier José Roger Ríos Trigodothe official Joel Eliseo Cardozo Khaqui, and Migdonio Garay Villanueva and Javier Orlandini Masgo Valerio.
