At around 4:30 on the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Quang Tri Police) received news of a traffic accident with a person trapped in the car cabin at Km 1068+300 Ho Chi Minh Road in Xuan Hoa village, Gio An commune, Gio Linh district.

The leader of Gio An Commune People’s Committee said that the accident caused one injured person to be taken to the emergency room, and the driver of car 29H 810.xx was trapped in the cabin and died.
The accident happened around 4 a.m. that same day.
