Two more European coaches want to captain the Vietnamese team

Mr. Emanuele Rinaldi and Christian Zermatten are the next two candidates to join the race to win the head coach position of the Vietnam team.

According to the latest information, there have been 2 more candidates participating in the race to win the head coach position of the Vietnam team.

The two characters mentioned are coaches Emanuele Rinaldi and Christian Zermatten, both Europeans.

Mr. Emanuele Rinaldi is only 39 years old this year and is considered one of the youngest coaches in Italy.

Coach Emanuele Rinaldi has not made any significant mark in his coaching career. He mainly works with U15, U17 and U21 teams.

Besides, the strategist born in 1985 also had time to lead women’s football teams.

Mr. Rinaldi completed most of the coaching classes of the Italian Football Federation and has a B and C license from the European Football Federation.

Although he does not have much experience, Mr. Rinaldi is highly appreciated for his ability to collect player data and analyze matches.

In contrast to the Italian coach, coach Christian Zermatten is very experienced, having worked with many teams in countries such as Switzerland, Malaysia, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia or Ivory Coast.

Despite leading many teams, the Swiss-born coach’s achievements are not so outstanding.

The most memorable mark in his career is probably leading Sion FC (Switzerland) in the 2004-2005 season.

After 37 matches, Mr. Zermatten helped the Swiss team achieve a win rate of up to 60%.

But right after that season, the 57-year-old strategist suddenly parted ways with Sion FC.

Since 2020 until now, coach Zermatten has not led any team and currently he really wants to return to work.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) is said to be aiming to find a Japanese or Korean coach for the national team.

Therefore, European coaches like Mr. Emanuele Rinaldi and Christian Zermatten will not have much hope of leading the Vietnamese team.
