Two foreigners were identified for thefts from shop patrons

Two foreigners were identified by the Security Directorate of Ioannina, against whom a case was filed for theft by complicity.

In particular, as emerged from the police investigation, the defendants entered catering establishments in Ioannina pretending to be customers and after sitting next to other customers, searched jacket pockets and bags, which were hanging on their chairs.

In the aforementioned manner, it was established that on 12-11-2023 they withdrew an amount of 180 euros and on 30-01-2024 an amount of 950 euros and 450,000 Albanian Lek.

The file will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of Ioannina.
