Twitch began as a platform where people could watch others play video games, but the service later expanded to include other content.
The company also reduced its staff last year. Twitch also recently shut down its service in South Korea, citing the costs were too high.
Amazon, one of the largest private companies in the world, is also cutting staff in 2023.
